Join Madeleine Diouf SARR the AUB – UNDRR- RTS Climate Summit for a Discussion on Media and Disaster Resilience
Madeleine Diouf SARR is one of the panelists at the UAR – UNDRR – RTS Climate Change Summit to be held in Dakar, Senegal, on the occasion of World Radio Day 2025.
A Biologist/Environmental Engineer, Madeleine Diouf SARR is the Director of Climate Change, Ecological Transition and Green Finance, after having been for more than ten years, Head of the Climate Change Division, Department of Environment and Classified Establishments, National FVC Authority; She ensures the secretariat of the National Climate Change Committee of Senegal, and has fifteen years of experience in climate negotiations and the management and coordination of climate projects/programs and ensures national technical coordination on climate.
She coordinated the project on the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) on the Paris Agreement of Senegal, the Country Program of the Green Climate Fund, etc., was a member of the CGE, LEG and AC expert groups. She chaired the Working Group on the Kyoto Protocol in 2013 and was the Chair of the LDC Group on climate negotiations for two years, from 2022 to 2023.
